KALAYAAN WATCH

OPERATIONS

FACILITIES

HOLD THE LINE IN THE GRAY ZONE

China is massing coast guard cutters, maritime militia swarms, PLAN destroyers, submarines, underwater drones and Yaogan surveillance satellites across the Kalayaan Island Group. Dredgers are moving to turn open shoals into military islands. The 2016 arbitral award is on your side. The firepower isn't.

ORDERS

• Keep BRP Sierra Madre supplied. Each RORE boat sails from Oyster Bay to Ayungin Shoal. Escort it through the militia swarm. If supply hits zero, the outpost falls.
• Stop reclamation. A PH ship within 3 cells of a working dredger halts it. Three new PRC islands and the operation fails.
• Win the narrative. DOCUMENT water cannon attacks, ramming, radar locks, flares and dredging to build INT'L SUPPORT. Support pays for protests and joint sails with partner navies.
• Don't start a war. Every round you fire raises ESCALATION. Past 25 the PLAN sorties destroyers; past 75 they shoot back; at 100 it's armed conflict.
• Allies & neighbours. US carrier groups, Marine landing craft and Triton drones can be called in as you upgrade HQ. Vietnam, Taiwan and Malaysia hold their own outposts; China harasses them too, and that footage counts.
• Undersea & space. Track submarines with the frigate's Wildcat to force them off. Recover drones by sailing over them. When a Yaogan pass is called, go EMCON or be tracked.
