About
How this site works
Three times a day (06:00, 12:00 and 18:00 Philippine time) we gather the latest reports from the country's major news organizations and Cebu newsrooms. Reports about the same event are grouped together, and the events covered by the most outlets are written up by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) as short news, an Easy Read version and, every morning, longer stories with maps and charts.
Our rules
- Only reported facts. The model may use only the facts in the listed reports, must name the outlet, and must skip a story when the reports are too thin. - Every story links its sources. Read the full report at the original outlet. - Numbers are checked. A figure or chart only appears if the number is found in the source reports. - Four languages, written natively. Filipino follows the register of national newscasts; Tagalog prefers native words; Bisaya is written the way Cebu newsrooms write it. - Paid content is labeled. Politicians and parties can pay for a labeled section on their profile. Payment never changes our reporting or profile facts, and every paid placement is listed publicly.
