    The 4.76-km toll-free bridge was nearly 60% complete in June 2026, targeting Q1 2028, though DPWH warned funding gaps could push completion to September 2030.

    🚆 Mindanao Railway Phase 1 (Tagum–Davao–Digos) planned

    The 100-km, eight-station line stalled after a China loan was cancelled in 2023; it was revived with an ADB feasibility study and DOTr relocated 159 families in Tagum in July 2026 for right-of-way.

    The 45.5-km Toril–Panabo bypass, with the country's longest mountain road tunnels (2.3 km twin bores), was 49.26% complete at end-2025, targeting full operation in 2028.
